It looks we need to be off in three rolls, and that includes this one! So, in order to extend our life to four turns, we need a miracle of bad rolling on the other side, and to go with it, two high doubles in our final three rolls. Let's start by pulling the checker off the 2 point. That leaves us with 10 checkers. One choice is to play 6/4 with the other aces. That gives us 66, 55, and 44 as the high doubles we want. The third toss might be 22, but otherwise cannot include a one or two.
Alternatively, we could play 5/4, 3/2. 44 and 66 are working right away, but not 55. This is a bet that we will roll 22, 33 or 6x before rolling 55. When this works, on the third toss (the non-double), we won't have twos as a bad number. Anything better that 21 will do.
I'll try that.
My move: 5/4, 3/2
