My backgame errors

In Response To: My backgame errors (mtuhtan)

1. Too many points, plenty of back checkers, not enough free and forward checkers. I'd keep the 3 back points and play 18/7. 20/14* 20/15 is tempting because many entering numbers play badly (fours) but Blue's not ready to contain yet. White would dearly love to make his five point, so I'll keep it for now. If White makes the bar point or 11 point, no worries, Blue has many checkers to play.

2. I'm going to play 18/7 again here.

3. Let's try bar/21 9/4*. Bar/21 20/15 would also be fine with me. Whatever White does, I have something play. I'd hit 2 if not on the bar, but without the 23 point bar/20 18/14* seems to loose.

4. Don't see much point in hitting or blotting. 21/15 looks fine.
