You can make the 5 prime now -- your stack of checkers on the 6 point is begging you to do that. You were an underdog to make it, and still will be if you don't make it now. That gives you a fine block against White's 2 back checkers. Or you can hit a third checker and try to contain 3 checkers. If you can't improve your prime, you won't contain them. If you do improve, you don't need to put a third checker back. Let White's outfield blot alone. Let him hit or not. Your position is strong, his big numbers are constrained, he has two checkers out of play, and he's running out of time. His 8 point will probably go soon.
