In Response To: Florida (Chiva Tafazzoli)

I am a big fan of the way Chiva runs his tournaments, though I must admit that I have only been to one. At that tournament I lost rather miserably but still had a great time and I am a fan. I really wish I could make it to more of his events. That being said, I must correct him on what I believe to be an incorrect statement.

The format is great. It allows anyone to win the entire tournament, even when losing one match (itīs backgammon and accidents can happen).

I believe there are two players that cannot win the tournament if they lose just once.

Regardless, he runs grreat tournaments and I wish more people supported him in the US.
