1. only a 2 point board, but… 25 pips ahead, White has no development, Blue has 11 in the zone. Not the best diversification but still. I am feeling bullied here. Double / Drop
2. White has an anchor and that’s it. Strong 4-point board, down in the race, and a bonus blot no way I take this as White. But I tend to overestimate the strong side sometimes. What’s the harm in slow playing this one? I take a shake. Too Good / Drop
3. Even though down in the race, running look s like the best chance to win. 24/14 and cross your fingers.
4. Race is close but we are up. We have a better board and he has a blot to boot. I think our priority should be part race, part containment. 16/11 for the 5. Staying back is better containment, but is a bit more hitters and a bit more hit and covers. Hmm, we are up, so let’s scoot up. 16/11, 16/14.
5. No clue really but I make the inner point. Arguments in favor. It doesn’t seem we are trying to prime him here. Opponent already has a doorway out though our nine point. The only thing our spare on the 5 is good for is for making the 4-point, so this puts him to use. If he get a hit later, it will be made stronger with our now best 3 point board. We might still make an outside point later.
6. I don’t care that we are up the race. No way I lift the 8-point or dump to the 3. We don’t win this game without the 5-point. 7/5, 6/5, even if it’s wrong.
7. I see Mochy disagrees with my last! This position is getting worse every roll. Let’s make a break for it now and hope for the best. 18/13, 18/14.
