ABT Dead Cube rule needs revision

Most of the rule discussions are more theory than practice here. I've only been playing a handful of years but I have never seen nor heard of someone purposely trying to cube at a score when the cube should have been dead. I've also never heard of it happening on accident and someone allowing it to stand. I would like 'better' rules written also but for the most part we discuss these odd infractions and they don't occur in real OtB play.
