Stick posts a problem and you can make the 5 point, do you need to know more about the position? Simple deduction, Dr. Watson!

I understand what you are aiming to do, but it is three hittable blots and giving up the midpoint stranding your checkers on the bar a bit. A general (but too simplistic) rule is that if you can make the 5 and slot the bar, or make the bar and slot the 5, you are better off with the first.
