Fully Live Double Point

I guess you meant to say "It isn't really meaningful to talk about a fully live double point if it means anything other than the fully live cash point. " If this is what you meant, then I completely agree, which is why I am confused that my bot shows a 50% live double point at 3-away,3-away even though the fully live cash point is ~77% (numbers assume no gammons and will vary a bit depending on MET you use).

However, Nielsen's post may have the answer. It seems the XG bot gives fully live double point equal to fully live cashpoint, exactly what I would expect. I do not have that bot, but if someone could verify this that would really clear up my confusion. I am using GNU, which definitely does not define fully live double point this way for match play. Based on my analysis, the fully live doubling point for matches in GNU is always the same as the dead doubling point except in the case of mandatory redoubles.
