NK replies that he thinks you can find a better 3 than coming up 24/21.
KW: There probably is a better 3, but I can't find it. If I had to play a different 3 I'd play 6/3 - is that what is called for here? When I look at this position the thing that comes to mind getting the third man up to increase pressure on any checkers blue tries to bring down from the midpoint, to spring or recirculate for timing if needed, and maybe to move the anchor up to the 4-point. Is this a position where we need to keep the man back on the ace point to make bearing in as difficult as possible? Just in case anyone is interested in staring at it, here's the position ( I don't know whether to keep the sides consistent with the previous problem or flip it so the side to play is on the bottom, I'm going for consistency despite the hobgoblin issues):
