You're using a normal move filter?
Ever since learning that XG doesn't rotate the dice quasi-randomly for 1296-game rollouts, I've wondered what's so magical about 1296 games. If we want to bot to explore all 1296 possibilities for the next two rolls at least once each, then I'd second Miran's suggestion of a larger lower bound; 2592 is fine, though again there doesn't seem to be anything magic about multiples of 1296.
I've never been a fan of stopping after the CI between the top two plays drops below a certain amount because this procedure introduces some counterintuitive statistical side-effects, especially when you're trying to estimate the sizes of the errors and not just which play comes out on top. Of course some compromise is necessary given finite computer time, but something like Neil's suggestion of stopping when 2σ < 0.005 for every play of interest would seem to make more sense. But maybe XG doesn't have this option built in?
