Five positions with 43 in the opening

Was out of town for several days; just got back.
Your five positions are:
51$-43S-43
54S-63X-21H-43
62S-62X-63H-43
52D-21$-22E-42U-43
52S-52S-64@-43W-33O-431) I studied this position while writing the Hit or Anchor with 43 article. As I recall, @ (anchor, bar/21 24/21) beats H (Hit, bar/21 8/5*) by about .03.
2) H (Hit, bar/18*) for me. With equal boards, hitting on the far side with 43 is generally indicated. Contrast with position 5.
3) It is thematic to play H (Hit, bar/21 6/3*) in order to straddle White with bad 6s.
4) I like k (kill, 8/5*/1*), gaining time to pick up the blot on the 14pt. [Without that blot, I'd lean towards the solid X (hit-and-split, 24/20 8/5*).] Also possible is K (Kill, 8/5* 6/2*), but I dislike stripping the 6pt.
5) I feel sure that @ (anchor, bar/21 24/21) is right here. With the weaker board, Blue is compelled to play safe with this great roll of 43.
