BQ: Hit and leave two blots?

This looks like a BQ in name only. It's a tough decision. The safe play of 8/1 kills a checker and risks further crunching since you may not be able to spring your back checkers when you want them, due to White's good prime. Though the race is currently close, it won't be close if you have to start burying checkers. On the other hand, 20/13* leaves us very exposed. Other than with White's 9 dancing rolls, White will hit (except possibly with 64 or 43, but I think I would hit as White even then). Of course we gain hugely when White dances, and even if we're hit we could come out on top since our board is stronger.
I think I would play safe with 8/1 here, but without any confidence.
An interesting question is what to do with a roll of 63 or 53 here instead of 61. I would be inclined to run the back checker despite the double shot.
