I tried to find a move that would not cost us the racing lead when we are hit. The best I could do was 24/21, 13/10(3). It's not a bad play. When White hits, he will likely leave returns, and we might come out ahead in the exchange. The problem with this is that White wants to attack us on his four point, so leaving a blot gives him every excuse to hit loose.

Better is to put the checkers where they belong.

My vote: 24/18, 13/7.
