White's raw take point is 27-28%, but she has considerable recube vig if she can escape her straggler because the race is close. I would take as White. The double is less clear to me. Blue isn't likely to lose a gammon even if the game turns around, but does have chances of winning a gammon from a successful attack, and doubling reduces his gammon value. I might double if I thought I would get a drop but would otherwise not double.
