6/3 4/1 looks too passive while behind in the race.

With 12 checkers in the zone I would try a blitz with 5/2*/1*, hoping to have enough time to pick up the blots beyond White's prime before White enters.

The tweenie play of 24/23 5/2* could also be nice because duplicates 2s, but duplication is "highly highly overrated".
