I'm 20% done with my (first) part of this project. BUMP-ing this thread for those who didn't see it originally but would like to participate.

In my first reply to this thread I asked - why not set 2592 as minimum trials. After 150 moves rolled out and scanned through the results, I will repeat - why not set 2592 as minimum trials?!
In later stages of a game (bear-in and similar), confidence is reached pretty fast, and - I don't like those short rollouts!! I will manually extend them to get truer picture of size of an error and/or to change which move is the best

By setting 2592 as minimum - time-consumption is not a problem! Complicated positions will be rolled out just as before (usually more than 5k trials); and simple positions are rolled out really fast - and we will have better confidence after 2.5k.

Michael, can I set 2592 trials as minimum? Does anybody else besides me want to do this?
