After 5/2*, 24/23 I think White doesn't have a double. However, any play that doesn't include 24/23 I think White could double from the bar!

By doubling from the bar Blue is forced to deal with a multitude of issues. He must cover immediately; he must toss an ace rather quickly; he must toss a 6; etc.

And, now, gammons become an issue for Blue.
