thought this was a nice one to post

This is a tough problem but I was able to quickly weed down to two plays. I feel making the three point is too static for the position allowing our opponent too many good rolls to sew up the game. This leaves one of the two hitting plays, either 24/23 5/2* or hitting both with 5/2*/1*.
Hitting both gets my nod for a couple of reasons. First, I don't think anyone has played it yet so it's even that more appealing to look like a genius if it's right. Second, it might be right. We have 12 men in the zone and would like to keep our opponent from doing anything, making a six prime or escaping his back checkers. This temporarily does both but the cost of being hit is still large. When we're not hit though our numbers are pretty well diversified and with so many men in the zone we may be able to keep pounding and close out and worry about escaping later. We also may only need the threat of escaping and not to actually escape since we'll be able to use the cube to our advantage if our attack goes well and we roll another ace or two somewhere along the lines.
5/2*/1* for me, fingers crossed.
