I Like Neil's Idea: Quick Masters Event

I totally agree with Neil. I feel that the amount of time we are given on the clock is way far more than necessary. When I play 9pt matches with Kenji on GridGammon, we average less than 30 minutes per match. Hard for me to figure out how so many people take two hours or longer at a live tournament to finish a 9pter.
If players got accustomed to playing quicker backgammon, I guarantee they would enjoy it more. Tournaments would be a lot more interesting, longer matches could be played, there would be time for more events, directors could make more money or at least come closer to breaking even and finally, attendance would increase.
