Sorry but I can't see the point here. 2 seconds are not a lot and as every roll is a double decision I wouldn't blame any person who spends up to 5 seconds every roll to decide whether or not to double, at least because you could overlook a checker on the bar (see threads about the impact on rules of people overlooking checkers on the bar).

Of course here it would have been more difficult for Blue to decide whether to redouble in case the cube were on his side.
