Regarding the right-hand position, 64P is a bad response to opening 43, and to that extent it is tainted. The above pair is instructive nevertheless; consider it an adjunct to the 43D-xxP-61 trio.

The theme, as usual: The more advanced the opponent's inside point, the weaker her prime and the better her race, and therefore the less incentive you have to split and the more willing you are to engage in a priming battle.
