White trails 0-2/7. White on roll.
White 50
Blue 63 Position ID: u20LAgAAAAADAA Match ID: AQHgAAAAEAAE
@Bob, the position is correct. I'm saying (as Turz implies) there is more Blue could think about if he had the cube; "no double" for either White or Blue in this position is clear to you, me, Neil and whoever: but it's not clear to everyone.
If Blue had the 2-cube, his dead cube cash point would be 73%: Pass -> 24%, Take/win 65%, Take lose 9%, White risks 15 to gain 41 = 73%. If Blue gets into 73%-79% range with the cube still live, there'd be more to consider. But with White holding the 2-cube, there are no 7-point match scores where Trailer can profitably redouble to 4 with less than ~50% MWC unless Leader is 3-away or 2-away. And in the position, White only wins about 33% cubeless.
@Neil, nobody responding thought much of the suggestion for tournament play but some thought the original question had some theoretical interest. The original poster, who has clock concerns but no ABT clock experience, might take a look at this post:

Anyway, OTB -- I started watching with half an eye as Blue caught the second checker. Soon they get to this position. Over comes the 4-cube. I thought at first it was Blue redoubling. I thought that's odd. But no, even odder, White was redoubling. Blue scooped, White got a couple of shots from the bar, missed them, and later dropped the redouble to 8.
