Yes. All the times that Blue doesn't hit, he loses a gammon and a match. That doesn't mean he should double. It means all those games are irrelevant to his cube decision. What matters is whether he is better off with a centered cube or having doubled whenever he hits. Blue has 20 hits now, and another 4 or so worth of later hits. But most of the later hits and some of the immediate hits only save the gammon. So doubling in those sequences just gives up 32% match equity. Other hitting sequences will often be winners. Blue will sometimes have lost his market, but won't win all the time if he has doubled. And after a lot of hits, Blue should still be able to double White in. I don't think Blue gains enough with by doubling now to make for all the times that a hit doesn't win the game.
