And what about this? Isn't this even improvement enough? I learned, that 2a-2a is a subclass of DMP, and someone said, that you should double, when there is the slightest possibility to lost your market. What about a hit on the 2 point, followed by a dance? Lost your market? Isn't the colonel be able then to turn his match losses into single game losses? And in the text position, if you have a hint, that your opponent might even drop an initial double, isn't it mandatory to double? Wouldn't be the mishandling of the cube - the colonel must have lost his market on the way to this position - a reasonable hint?
