With a full prime and Stick's pretty weak board we have plenty of time to screw around and not have to worry about getting hit. Definite gammon possibilities here. I've been playing Gnubg a lot lately and I wouldn't be surprised if it liked 8/7 8/4. Stick would get out on a 1/6 but we'd still win the race and have opportunity to hit him and then a really strong gammonish position. And if he doesn't get out, then rolling the prime in would be a snap (with chances for a gammon). 8/7 8/4 is one of those clever plays that might be a case of thinking too much when 6/1* seems so strong.
