It's our choice. We can leave our blot on the 20 point or the 18. Shall we offer a 1-3-6 triple shot inside or a 1-4-6 shot outside? The inside shot duplicates the 3 White needs cover, and gives us more returns. The outside shot makes it harder for White to make his 5 point, and might force him to relinquish his midpoint.

It's close, but I'll try outside.
