8-cube for the match

position 1:
If you don't cube and lose, then you'll have 9%. So by cubing you risk 9%. If you don't cube and win, then you'll have 59%. So if you cube, you can gain 41%. In the position your doubling point is 9/(9+41)=18%.
You bear off to win with 66,55,44,33,65,64. That's 8/36 which is more than 18%, so cube. I can see it's a take without doing any calculations.
Position 2:
Here you'll bear off with 23/36, so cube. How about the take? If white drops, then he is trailing -5, -3 for 34%. That's the TP since taking involves playing for the match. White wins 13/36 which is slightly more than 34%, so take (unless you're a favourite).
