Touch (Lift) Rule PROPOSAL

The problem with many of these suggestions has to do with the subjectiveness of the rules. How shall players enforce 2 centimeters? What is an uncontrolled manner? The status quo rule of your turn is over when the dice are lifted off the board is so air tight that there very rarely will arise a conflict between players.

Am I the only player who likes to see how the checkers look after a proposed play? Any rule about checker movement should allow players to move checkers from the original position to a proposed play, and if that play is not agreeable, checkers should be allowed to move back to the original position.
