Touch (Lift) Rule PROPOSAL

A player may move checkers to consider a move, but those checkers moved must be kept at least two centimeters apart from checkers already on the target point, or be placed at the tip of the point if the target point is empty; otherwise those checkers must be kept at the target point and be considered part of the player's move.
I like the wording of this rule better than the WBA rule. Personally, I prefer there not be a penalty for failing to leave a 2 cm gap. Rather, I'd like to see it more as a "guideline" that players are expected to follow. (If you forget to follow the guideline, your opponent should remind you.)
