I think 6/5*(2) is overly clever. It leaves just one blot, but Opp can easily force us to expose others, and it leaves 12 return hits. I can see that if Opp does not roll a 5, 8/7 6/5* (11 returns) is a whole lot better than 11/9*. Down 14-away 8-away, with us itching to put the cube on 4, perhaps it is best. But I play 11/9*, the obvious 'normal' play that leaves zero returns.
