16/8 minimizes hits at one but it's a killer. Hard to recover after that!

The other two plays give two returns.

16/13 12/7 looks wrong -- must be wrong because 14 or so numbers leave a direct or indirect shot next roll -- I mean numbers that have to place a checker on the 10 through 7 points, or bear off but leave a blot. 16/8 is better at that but still leaves 7 or so numbers that blot or don't half-clear well.

16/11 12/9 looks great, 5-5 is the worst number, but everything else either clears, or Blue can park the checker on the 11 point rather safely for one roll.
