The big question is whether to switch, and since XG would have 3 checkers on the bar I think we should switch because we have ample time to bring our checkers around. I hadn't even considered switching from the 5-point, but that might best because it opens up more pick and pass numbers. If switching from the 3, 10/8 is compulsory, and I played 11/9 with the last 2 because although sixes are duplicated, a checker 6-away can always come handy later. I am not sure that it compensates for making 33 a killer for XG, but 33 is very powerful anyway.

So I'm sticking with the play I decided before reading the other posts, although I doubt it is best : 11/9 10/8 3/1*(2).
