I started out grouping by first roll, but then learned much faster after I switched to grouping by last roll, which in the case of second roll positions is by REPLY (as in Mike's table). The position contrasts seem much easier to analyze and remember.

With the third roll and subsequent positions, again I group by LAST roll, producing all kinds of instructive position pairs and trios.

Each to his own, I suppose...
