BTW, the web-page you linked is my article where I wrote how backgammon knowledge (risk-gain ratio and takepoints) can be used in "1 versus 100" TV-quiz.
I was inspired by watching that quiz when participant had made enormous blunder by dropping when he had 33% chance and his takepoint was 9%.
