DMP Donald will win more often than Nervous Nellie in the long run. (Donald will blunder away more ME when he does blunder, but usually he won't blunder at all because usually the match won't get to DMP.)
Unless I misunderstand your premise, that seems to be wrong. If Nellie always loses the first game of a best-of-N games match, and Donald always loses the Nth game, and both play perfectly in all other games, neither of them will have an advantage in the match due to symmetry. That the Nth game will only be actually played if it is DMP bears no relevance.
