1. How does GridGammon generate dice rolls?

This is presumably a trade secret. It wouldn't be good if players could predict the dice.

2. Are there any recent studies of the randomness of GridGammon dice rolls?

Doesn't it go without saying that the dice are random and fair? Why would you create a server that worked any other way? ... On another topic, what does SHG stand for?
