I was not serious in my comment, but it is what logically would follow from what Tobias mentioned in the interview.

'Luck' is the deviation in the actual results from the infinite term average.

I guess what Tobias means is that his attitude towards luck during play is as he mentioned, and I can imagine that by ignoring luck, you'll just concentrate on making the right decisions and that that focus can be helpful for one's play.
