When your opponent make 2pt on his very first roll it is almost always wrong to split. 2pt is too deep for priming game so he will attack and with he having better board he is favorite in blot hitting contest. So no split.

13/8 is safe but passive and looks non efficient. Aces are usualy split or slot numbers. We have two stacks here so like to unstack both. In addition we are behind in the race and can't lose much if white hit us. If white miss we have great chance to equalize or even turn game into our favor.
