Why no Jacoby rule in match play?

I don't like they Jacoby rule. Some of you think I am fat donkey for not liking such a great rule.

Looks to me like the arguments offered for its use in money games are just as good for match play.

If it's such a good rule for the game, why not use it in match play too?
