Tim, I didn't intend to rehash your arguments. I just noticed that you had made two very long rollouts for one very clear position. Thus my comment about VR. Now I see why you did such long rollouts. That's all.

Your answer does clarify, though, the question of whether using actual statistics means more time-consuming rollouts. It certainly does, if it's necessary to do 10k or 20k trials to get reliable actual statistics, where 1k (or less) would do.
