Why no Jacoby rule in match play?

Almost certainly, if the Jacoby rule were introduced into match play, it wouldn't apply at Crawford.

The point of the Jacoby rule is to force people to turn the cube (under certain circumstances) so it doesn't make much sense to have a Jacoby rule when there is no cube in play.
