When you should move the checker to the ace-point and when to leave at the edge of the prime?
If you're up a creek without a paddle after getting hit at the edge of the prime, make the safe play. If you'll still have a paddle, slot the prime. If you're up a creek no matter where you get hit, slot the prime. I think Blue has plenty of paddle left here -- White's blot, Blue's outfield coverage -- so he play 4/2* 11/10. Give White a 4 point board and no home board blot, I wouldn't be sure, but would still play 4/2* 11/10. Give White a 5 point board, I'd play 4/2*/1.
