I thought Chase had formulated a rule for this, which would call for the hit. Or was it you?

In any case, I'd go with 8/2*/1, because (1) it hits, we knows what good may come from that and getting our hit in first; (2) we take away half the roll; (3) if hit back, we have a kind of anchor in the 15 point; and (4) we want to move XG forward so that we can play behind.
