Double hit?

Hitting two looks right:
- Since blue has 11 men in the zone and an equal-strength board, attacking plays are often strong.
- White has no anchor and a third vulnerable blot.
- Blue's made acepoint makes priming a less viable option.
- Attacking (b/23* 8/2*) allows blue to keep his anchor.
The other plays don't appear to accomplish as much:
- B/23* 16/10 doesn't hit the second checker and still leaves white 6 shots at the outfield checker.
- B/23* 22/16 breaks the 22-point anchor when white has 12 men in the zone. This gives white a number of return hits from the bar that attack blue's backmen.
Overall, blue has an "attacking" structure. With 11 in the zone he has a good chance to make a 5-point board with 2 or 3 checkers on the bar in the next few moves. Thus, I like b/23* 8/2*.
