"When ahead, race" calls for running 15/8. Moreover, White does have a blot on his 5 point (but hit and cover rolls). 8/2*/1 leaves fewer shots and takes away half of White's roll (but loses more pips if hit). Because the bots tell me that I don't hit enough in opp's homeboard, I'll play 8/2*/1 here, but without much confidence.
