Thanks for the nactation assistance. As you probably can guess, I am still hard at work studying the replies to opening moves.

Ignoring the fact that the 1k rollouts are not statistically significant...

Perhaps I should clarify. The shorter rollouts often can statistically show with a high degree of confidence that the top roll in the rollout is in fact the best play. What they often do poorly is give absolute measures of the standing of the plays that are lower down. I'm speaking about wringing the variance out of a rollout, and that is why many of the folks doing rollouts on BGO are using a minimum 5k trial for opening rolls.

The truth is that I made the remark just in case someone would respond, "Who cares what the nactation is! Those plays don't matter!"
