If you pay now are you home free? Not clear but yes in many cases.Pay now.

Did blue position will become worse if not pay now? Yes.He has to waste some pips. Pay now.

Did white position improve if blue doesn't pay now? Not clear. Maybe become a little bit less strong. So a little pay later.

Blue is ahead in the race so racing is thematic.Pay now.

But white board is very strong and he has full prime so shot would be fatal.Pay later.
