The question is if someone can become a 4.5 player using the opposite hand, the question is can they do it in 9 months. There's no question whatsoever that I could be a 4.5 player with either hand but the time frame is what makes it interesting.

If it takes you anywhere near 6 months to learn how to write with your opposite hand you're a complete donkey.

Possibly best initially to avoid two handed shots as I guess these will be the most difficult

It would be much much much more difficult for a righty to switch to lefty and play a one handed backhand rather than a two handed backhand.
