The back men are stuck with this roll, so have to focus up front. With three checkers back, I find it premature to make the ace. Could play it safe with 13/8 6/2, but I think the position calls for a hit. Double hitting with 8/4* 8/3* would be overdoing it, though. I'll go with the simple hit from the midpoint, big upside when it works.
