Actually, to tell the truth, I think that the leader will more often win at Crawford.

Dependent on match score, in the Crawford game it becomes either more important or the same to win a gammon, never less important. Given that there is naturally more volatility in a gammon-chasing situation, or GG, I would suggest that the leader will therefore be more of a favorite over the long run to win the Crawford games.

Dependent on skill levels of the players involved, that situation may change in the post-crawford games. I have found that GS or Game-Save (different from Gammon Save) is harder to play properly than GG or 'I really would like a gammon here, but I'm not at GG'.
